Set Up Consolidated Billing in AWS

Consolidated Billing is an accounting and billing feature that allows you to manage billing for your clients. It does not allow access or control to the account.

  1. Login to your AWS console, then click on your name in the top right hand corner and select My Account.
  2. In the left menu click Consolidated Billing.
  3. Click on Sign up for Consolidated Billing.
  4. Amazon will verify your billing status, then send you an email to verify that Consolidated Billing has been set up.

Adding AWS accounts to Consolidated Billing

  1. Login to your AWS console, then click on your name in the top right hand corner and select My Account.
  2. In the left menu click Consolidated Billing.
  3. Click Send Request.
  4. Enter in the email address (or email addresses separated by a comma), add any notes to send with the request if you wish, then click Send.
  5. An email will be sent to the accounts you added with a request to be added to your Consolidated Billing account.  These requests expire after 15 days.
